(Undated) — Conservative Methodists are unhappy about a bishop’s decision to not try a priest who officiated a gay wedding. John Lomperis at The Institute on Religion and Democracy tells “The Christian Post” Bishop Martin McLee broke this word to God and hurt his integrity by not trying the Reverend Dr. Thomas Ogletree. The ex-Yale Divinity School dean officiated his son’s gay wedding in 2012. He was supposed to go on trial this month, but McLee announced earlier this week both sides reached a resolution. McLee didn’t say what the resolution was.
