The ‘Sense’ Of An Animal

‘BB’ with our youngest son Ross sharing some Love!bb

Such a valuable lesson, I have to share it with you.

For those who don’t know me, I am presently in a battle with Stage IV cancer. Me and my precious wife presently have three small pups which we refer to as family members more than pets. All three spend endless hours everyday in precious efforts to try to get their tounges as far down my throat to lick the evil illness out of me as they can. They are all quite passionate about it!

A few years back, we had a Border Collie mix who was actually beaten as a puppy prior to our rescuing him. He wasn’t fully attuned to being with me as it was obviously a man who had purported what I consider a crime, but we got along pretty well despite his fears. He was truly a ‘Mommas Boy’ and never left her side. A true champion who actually chased a bear out of our backyard when we use to live in the extreme northeast heights of Albuquerque in the foothills of the Sandia Mountain, he wasn’t afraid of much else. During this period, I was battling extreme Gerd issues and an associated hernia, and at one point, I simply thought I was having an extremely bad attack of the same which lasted for two days. ‘BB’, as we named him for his ‘Big Belly’ as a puppy, started tending to me for two solid days without fail and would not leave my side and almost became annoying at some points in what I thought was simple attention grabbing. In fact, it turns out BB was trying to give me a message as I’d been walking around for those two solid days literally having a heart attack which culminated the second night when I collapsed at home. (If I’d only known to listen to our precious dog I may have saved myself some heart surgery!!!)

Attached is a video of another such story concerning a lady in Great Britain suffering from cancer while being cleared by all her doctors to be cancer free … but alas, her dog knew better!

Recent scientific studies are now confirming animals abilities to detect different illnesses! Animals can sense things we can’t dream of knowing ….. If you’re not feeling well, LISTEN, they may have something important to tell you!!!

Rick Stambaugh
After serving in the United States Navy for 22 years I retired from the service late in 1991. Having always loved the southwest, shortly after retiring, I moved to the Albuquerque area where I have resided since. Initially I worked as a contractor for approximately 6 years doing cable construction work. That becoming a little dangerous, at an elevated age, I moved into the retail store management environment managing convenience stores for roughly 16 years. With several disabilities, I am now fully retired and am getting more involved with helping Pastor Dewey & Pastor Paul with their operations at FGGAM which pleases my heart greatly as it truly is - "For God's Glory Alone". I met my precious wife Sandy here in Albuquerque and we have been extremely happily married for 18 years and I am the very proud father to Sandy's wonderful children, Tiana, our daughter, Ryan & Ross, our two sons, and proud grandparents to 5 wonderful grandchildren. We attend Christ Full Deliverance Ministries in Rio Rancho which is lead by Pastor's Marty & Paulette Cooper along with Elder Mable Lopez as regular members. Most of my time is now spent split between my family, my church & helping the Pastors by writing here on the FGGAM website and doing everything I can to support this fantastic ministry in the service of our Lord. Praise to GOD & GOD Bless to ALL! UPDATED 2021: Rick and Sandy moved to Florida a few years ago. We adore them and we pray for Rick as he misses Sandy so very, very much!
