Dear Family of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Thank you for your love!

Thank you for stopping by for a CUP!

For God’s Glory Alone!

“When we honestly ask ourselves which person in our lives mean the most to us, we often find that it is those who, instead of giving advice, solutions, or cures, have chosen rather to share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand. The friend who can be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who can stay with us in an hour of grief and bereavement, who can tolerate not knowing, not curing, not healing and face with us the reality of our powerlessness, that is a friend who cares.”
― Henri J.M. Nouwen

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!

At this time, here is the top two read stories at FGGAM:

Where is Gov Martinez as Gov Perry Sends Gaurdsmen to the Border?  By Paul Holt

Federal Court Delivers A Major Blow To Obamacare Subsidies  By Rick Stambaugh

and these inspirational posts………..

She’s got issues  By Shari Hardway Johnson

Kelly’s Word For The Day~ Compassion For Souls By Kelly Snelgrove

How will we ever know all that is possible with God unless we ever give Him a chance to show us? He’s waiting. The possibilities are endless! Words of Robin Prater who writes for FGGAM!

Here is a note that Shari Hardway Johnson, the Jesus Chick shared with us..it is from her friend Chonda Pierce, whose husband has had a stroke and was having brain surgery at last report……….these words touched me so……..Have you ever sat in a hospital room waiting word on a loved one? It can be very trying….read these words carefully………

I’m spent. And the little things push me over Niagara TearFalls! Maybe the adrenaline of life and death has dropped now and has left me in a heap. It sounds like David is struggling for every breath. Not to be gross… But he is so congested and too weak to cough deep enough. His oxygen drops, then his blood pressure hits the roof — and I just hold his hand and cry. Now we’re back on the bi-pap machine. He’s weak as a kitten and I’m no help anymore.

My life has been in flux for about three years now. The list of “do-overs” pile up: I should have never sold the house. Why did we ever move? How do I work so hard and bills still pile up? Calgon isn’t strong enough to take me anywhere anymore. Yes… Pity party always hits when you’re exhausted.

So I muster what little strength I have to Praise Him. Even tho’ I sure don’t feel like it: .. I praise Him that David is still alive. I praise Him for great nurses and doctors. I praise Him that I am able to find work that bears much fruit. I praise Him for my brother and sister-in-law that are always there for me. And I praise Him for this pathetic recliner that has become my home for now.

Chonda’s husband’s name is David, let us pray for complete healing in Jesus name.

We also have an unspoken prayer request from a Dear friend, please pray for healing.

We also have another unspoken prayer request from a family for peace, let us pray in Jesus name, Amen.

This Patriotic Poem was written by Clara Nelson of Windom, Minnesota. Clara lived on the street over from my parents. Her husband, the late Leo Nelson served our Country in World War II, just like my Dad.

This poem appeared in the Windom newspaper and I called Clara to see if we could post it! I read it when I preached Sunday in Reserve, New Mexico at the Baptist Church.

“I Love America”

America is great when we worship God.

America is great when we read God’s word.

We remember the many people before us, who made our country great.

Even today, the sacrifices we make.

I love America, this is my country, this is my home.

In the woods and wilderness I see the mighty works of God.

The green grass and beautiful trees,

The blue sky and fluffy white clouds,

The lakes and rivers and streams.

I love America, this is my country,

This is my home.

We remember what has made America great,

Our forefathers worshiped God.

They read God’s word and prayed.

Before we were born, they prayed for us.

As a nation to be strong in the Lord.

I love America, this is my country,

This is my home.

Now it is up to you and me

To keep our nation free.

Many before us set the pattern

And showed us what to do.

Obey God’s word and daily pray, too.

I love America, this is my country

This is my home.

WOW!

I wept when I read this…….and it show’s what is missing in America today…..  following God and being obedient to God. I preached on Sunday on worshiping God. The audio will be posted soon. As Clara says so well in her poem, it is up to you and me to keep America free. As a country we no longer worship and pray as we should.

What kind of pattern are we setting for the future?

This poem should show you how we are failing as a country.

By reading Clara’s poem here in 2014 we can see first hand how far we have fallen. Let us pray for America and the church.

Now read this!

The maker of all human beings (GOD) is recalling all units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious defect in the primary and central component of the heart. This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of the same defect in all subsequent units.

PEOPLE

This defect has been identified as “Sub-sequential Internal Non-morality,” more commonly known as S.I.N., as it is primarily expressed.

Some of the symptoms include:
1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish or violent behavior
6. Depression or confusion
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion

The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor at fault for this defect, is providing factory-authorized repair and service free of charge to correct this defect.

The Repair Technician, JESUS, has most generously offered to bear the entire burden and has paid the price of the staggering cost for these repairs. There is no additional fee required. The number to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R. Once connected, please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure. Next, download ATONEMENT & FORGIVENESS from the Repair Technician, Jesus, into the heart component.

No matter how big or small the SIN defect is, Jesus will replace it with:
1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control

Please see the operating manual, the B.I.B.L.E. (BEST Instructions Before Leaving Earth) for further details on the use of these fixes.

WARNING:Â Continuing to operate the human being unit without correction voids any manufacturer warranties, exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to list, and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded. For free emergency service, call on Jesus.

DANGER:Â The human being units not responding to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace.

Â

The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as to prevent contamination of that facility.

Thank you for your attention!

GOD

P.S.: Please assist where possible by notifying others of this important recall notice, and you may contact the Father any time by ‘Knee mail’!

Because HE Lives! Working for God on earth doesn’t pay much, but His retirement plan is out of this world!

Thanks to Darlene Quiring of Mt. Lake, Minnesota for sending this into FGGAM!

For God’s Glory Alone in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ, Dewey, Sharon, family and FGGAM team
