Two more Israeli soldiers were killed in action during Operation Protective Edge on Monday, bringing the total number of soldiers killed since the ground operation began to 27, with many more wounded. The death toll among Palestinians has exceeded 500 with disputed reports about the number of fighters and civilians in that total. Israel has also reported arresting over 20 terrorist suspects and destroying dozens of tunnels along with hundreds of rockets and launchers.
