Good morning Dewey’s Daily Cup Readers,

Hi, this is Karen Rowe joining you again today! Let us begin our day together by opening heart and address our mind “to live by every Word that comes from the Mouth of God”; that faith comes from hearing the message of the good news in Christ; and we begin with Prayer (Matthew 4:4, Romans 10:17)!

“Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ (Romans 10:17).”

The Perfect Scripture!

Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.

Proverbs 16:3 Amplified Bible (AMP)

The Perfect Prayer!

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Matthew 6:9-13 King James Version (KJV)

Good morning to you!!! I prayerfully brewed this Cup in Prayer last night –and this morning, I am prayerfully pouring out this fresh cup for you! I am rejoicing at an answered prayer from a friend we have been praying for!!! I received a text from her just moments ago that she has made it!!! She made it out of a very difficult situation; and she is happy and good –all is well with her, from deep within her tormented soul; to find peace with God once again!!! Jesus never left her and God never stopped loving her! Now, she is in a good and safe place!!! Praise God!!! This makes me so HAPPY and full of JOY!!! I thank God for answered prayer! The Holy Spirit is our helper –that we can’t do it alone! Don’t underestimate the power of prayer! Don’t forget the joy of the Lord is your strength!!! Praise to God is the blessing of joy!

16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 give thanks in all circumstances;

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18English Standard Version (ESV)

I hope this day finds you well –and well, sometimes the day finds us with more needs. Life certainly has ups and downs, but in Jesus we can find Peace and even Joy –Always!

Isn’t God amazing that even when we go through tough things, God is still our Sovereign God! “Sovereign” in the descriptive property means “having unlimited power or authority!” So, when God doesn’t seem to come to the rescue right away; does that mean that He doesn’t care? Or, is not aware; –or worst yet, hasn’t rescued?

Here is the best word of Praise I can think of Today: Jesus Saves!

I have heard people say, “according to what I believe, or my opinion is;” but what really matters is the Truth.

So, let’s take a look at the Truth.

Can I shift your thinking just a minute? I am watching “The Waltons” tonight –as I was praying about what to write to you about. In this episode, the young boys –(really young men) were fighting out of control in anger growing, but when Grandpa showed up –the scene stood still! This made me think, Wow! Now that is earned respect!!! How much greater is our God?

Here’s what I know. God is God. God gives us HIS Word to meet every situation that we encounter. Jesus Saves. The Holy Spirt is our Helper. Our job is to depend on God in prayer, but also in faith –doing all that is on our heart to do –and knowing that God is with us! Again, Jesus is the WAY!

So friends in Christ, I encourage you to pray! Get your Word from God and pray some more! And, when you pray begin with Praise!!! And, remember to thank God for hearing your prayers! You can even thank Jesus for saving you!

Then remember, God’s Word to you!

… PRAY, and do not doubt God’s ability; and do not doubt God’s love for you! “For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened (Matthew 7:8 & Luke 11:10).”

NOTICE the word EVERYONE! Isn’t God gracious! Now, if you haven’t seen your miracle yet … And, if you have to wait until you arrive to Heaven, can you hold on for a vapor more of time? Meanwhile, we have a wonderful honor to uphold in the sweet and powerful Name of Jesus the Christ:

“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful (Luke 6:36).”

Read also Hebrews 13:1-6! (Included at the end)

God loves you my friend! I am just happy to report this good news! Really Happy from deep down in my soul!!!

I sure hope this is a wonderful blessing to you of strength in the Joy of Jesus, with complete Peace in Jesus!

If you don’t quite get this message just yet, that is okay! God still loves you!

I will leave you today with something powerful that I found quite amazing. One night, while reading my Bible, I was reading in Proverbs … and the section kept saying, “I, Wisdom” over and over!

Can you imagine the look on my face in my lack of understanding? “I, Wisdom” I thought??? In my bewilderment! “Who is Wisdom?” That is a loaded question Today for me! God IS! Jesus IS! The Holy Spirit is the Wisdom that God will bring to us from Heaven! It is all about following Jesus! God the Father knows all things; and HE makes us understand all we need to know.

Remember the Word we started with? Reread Matthew 4:4! I believe you will rejoice in this Word of God! I just praise God for His Word! I find God Amazing in HIS Grace and goodness! And, I just thank God for all that HE is –and also for His love that is for us! Thank you Jesus for saving us –and teaching us!!!

Well that is about all that is on my mind on this night as I prepare this wonderful morning Cup for you to read a message anointed by God to hear from Him –in His way. Please know that I will be praying for you. I don’t have to know what it is, but I know that by you reading this, God knows your heart. The Holy Spirit will enable us to pray, which is really sowing the seed of God’s Word back up to Him! Now, think of what an apple seed will do when we plant it –It will grow a tree producing many apples. We don’t have to understand –we just have to believe it is possible! And this is our obedience and trust we have in God through our faith in Jesus the Christ!

I would love to share a huge blessing –well, a miracle is what it is! I invite you to see what the Lord has done! www.hopeintoday.com Come and celebrate & explore with me –as we know there is more work to do, but in all we do, it is a reflection of what we are ready to do…as far as it depends on today!

The Word of God:

Final Exhortations

13 Let brotherly love continue. Don’t neglect (don’t forget) to (entertain strangers) show hospitality, for by doing this some have welcomed angels as guests without knowing it. Remember the prisoners, as though you were in prison with them, and the mistreated, as though you yourselves were suffering bodily. Marriage must be respected by all, and the marriage bed kept undefiled, because God will judge immoral people and adulterers. Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. Therefore, we may boldly say:

The Lord is my helper;
I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?

Hebrews 13:1-6Holman Christian Standard Bible (HCSB)

Thank you for joining us at DDC! Thank you Dewey for all you do in order for the Cup to be here! Thank you readers for praying –we all need each other; and we all need prayer! I hope this was a blessing to you!

Karen Rowe
