Tass Saada is living proof that God can completely change anyone’s life. Born into a Muslim family in Gaza in 1951, he grew up with a deep hatred of the Jews. Following Israel’s crushing defeat of the Arabs in the 1967 Six Day War, Tass joined the PLO militia and trained to be a sniper. But after moving to America years later, Tass had a supernatural encounter with Jesus that totally changed his life. As Tass began his new Christian walk, the Lord dealt with him about his hardness towards the Jewish people. It was not easy, but Tass began to pray for the Jews and to see God’s plan in bringing them back to the Land of Israel. He eventually moved back to the land himself and today has a ministry based in Jericho called “Seeds of Hope,” which seeks to bring reconciliation between Jews and Arabs. Now Tass has written about his fascinating journey of faith in a book entitled “Once an Arafat Man.” In his biography, Tass recounts how God confronted him about his anger towards his former enemy and how he came to accept all that the Bible has to say about the Jewish people and their Promised Land.
