John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
1John 3:16-18
This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.
1John 4:8
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Lord, thank you for your love. It is so hard to comprehend with our finite minds the love that you have bestowed upon us. God, you even know the numbers of hairs on our heads. How do we ever say thank you for your endless love? Today, across this globe let us put that love we received in action and show it to a hurting world.
Today, help us to look beyond ourselves and to unselfishly give away what you so freely gave us-your love. Today, we choose to be kind, meek, gentle and patient and a blessing to all you would entrust in our journey today. Your love for mankind cost you everything, and us nothing.
Today, use us to give your love away in action and truth. Today may the world light up because of your great love. Amen
