It is very interesting to see what is happening in the TV business. I have more and more friends that are dropping cable TV and satellite TV and are using the internet for their entertainment. We have Netflix here at the Moede house. The TV business, like everything else is changing rapidly. It seems that TV as we know it, is ending. Here at FGGAM our website is now getting nearly a half million visits every month. We also post our audio and video here. I could go on and on about all the changes in the communications business, been in radio since 1977, just one more though. I am up as early as 3am daily posting news and inspiration from around the world and when the Albuquerque Journal arrives by 6am, it is old news. I am reading less and less of the Journal because when it’s being printed at their plant, it is already outdated. How long do daily papers have left in this world? As far as radio is concerned and I have said this for years, it better remain live 24/7 and local to survive. The battle between Netflix and HBO is just beginning.
