I am so thankful for our children. All five of them, Greg, Gretchen, Stephanie, Michael and Lars. All the kids were out of town this Christmas. Michael and his girlfriend, Tina,  did come for a pre-Christmas visit from Denver and Gretchen was here before she flew out to be with brother Lars for Christmas. Gretchen works hard everyday for her money and spent it to fly out to see Lars in Chicago so he wouldn’t spend Christmas alone. I just cried at this love! Family love, love in Jesus Christ. Everyday I see and report on the breakdown of the family. Many talk about the Church needing a revival, well I have always said that revival starts with you and me, in our homes, Amen! Our adult children treat people with respect, they treat authority with respect. They love on each other and their Mom and Dad. Our adult children all work hard to make ends meet, they are all out making it on their own. Sharon and I are so proud of them and thankful to the Lord for how hard working and honest are kids are.  They always help out others less fortunate. Lars and GretchenIf we are going to turn this Country around for God, it all starts in our homes and neighborhoods. It starts with your mail carrier, the clerks at the supermarket, the unbelieving neighbor, at the post office when you meet people, at the gas station, anywhere we go, we are to be salt and light for Jesus Christ! Amen!

I want to add that on Feb. 14th we are to be Grandparents for the very first time as Stephanie and her husband Patrick are expecting a girl! Amen! Amen! They live in Denver as well as Greg and his wife Natasha, Michael also lives in Denver.

Picture is of Lars and Gretchen together in Chicago.

Just one more story about love…………..

Sharon is fighting a virus and our older doggy Buffy is having a rough day, I’m fighting off the virus so far, but I don’t know who is winning at this point!!! LOL!…….yesterday our neighbors knowing Sharon was so sick in bed, brought us both a home cooked prime rib dinner with all the trimmings! As all the kids are out of town for Christmas. Oscar and Veronica Magallanes show us so much love in our Lord Jesus Christ. Neighbors Tom and Joan Johnson brought us homemade bread for Christmas. I also want to thank a man who helps me out everyday at www.fggam.org Rick Stambaugh works the newsroom everyday for us in making sure news gets posted. Rick does this everyday despite being in such pain from cancer and other aliments. He is such a strong testimony to me and Sharon. We love you Rick! So, I wish I could mention everybody’s name here that blessed Sharon and me and FGGAM, but there is not enough room! PRAISE GOD! PRAISE GOD! We have been super blessed with all the volunteer writers and those who provide love offerings to the ministry. God Bless you all! We love you all! And by the way Glen Strock thank you for the blessing!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

1 Timothy 5:8

But if anyone does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

1 John 4:19

We love because he first loved us.
