The Lebanese Shi’ite terror militia Hezbollah was taking responsability for a series of attacks against Israeli military and civilian targets near the Lebanese border Wednesday afternoon. At press time several Israelis had been wounded by missiles and mortars fired into Israel from Lebanese territory and the IDF had responded with artillery fire and air strikes on the sources of the fire. An IDF official said the situation is fluid with a possible widening of the conflict but for now both sides appear to be watching and waiting for the other to react.
