Follow the steps in this article to send your opinion to the FCC before August 2nd.
The Federal Communications Commission has postponed making a decision on whether to allow more nudity and profanity on television until August 2.

The Hill newspaper reported that regulators are extending the deadline for the public to comment on the proposal.

The FCC has reportedly already received more than 100,000 comments, most of them in opposition.

“We recognize the importance of affording all interested parties sufficient time to review the comments in the Docket and to prepare their reply comments,” the FCC said. “We also respect the interest of the public in having sufficient time for review and consideration of the various positions and concerns.”

If you’d like to register your opinion with the FCC, the American Family Association is rallying viewers to register their complaints. They’ve released the following the directions to assist anyone who opposes the move.

1. Please follow these instruction carefully, to ensure your comment is accepted by the FCC:
2. Go to the FCC website.
3. Enter the code “13-86” in the “Proceeding Number” box and fill out the few remaining required fields.
4. Enter your comment in the text box provided and click “Continue.”
5. From there, review your comment and click “confirm.”

SAMPLE: I oppose any changes to the current FCC indecency standards that would allow television and radio stations to broadcast expletives and nudity on the public airwaves, even if brief or “fleeting.”
