Paul again was imprisoned in Rome while he wrote this in Timothy 1:8…..Do not blush or be ashamed then, to testify to and for our Lord, nor of me, a prisoner for His sake, but with me take your share of suffering to which the preaching of the Gospel may expose you, and do it in the power of God.
Wherever you are, preach the Word of God. This past week I had the blessing of being approached by many people of different faiths, and those of no faith. They had wonderful questions to ask me. They asked all sorts of questions, I was able to answer them because the Lord was with me. When the Lord is with you, he paves the way, he gives you the power.
Paul’s word’s from prison should inspire us all to preach the Word of God. Paul is my hero, if he can do what he did while in prison, what can we accomplish in our remaining days? Paul had power, but it was under control, meekness is power under control. Paul took the power of God and was guided by God, he would not had succeeded in our Lord if he was out of alignment with God. Let us check ourselves each day to make sure we are in alignment with God’s Will for our life.
