It was so refreshing to see the statement by Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry as he stands in the gap for the sanctity of life. It is so sad to see the resolution pass in Santa Fe County in support of same-sex marriage.
God’s Word in Ezkeil; 13:5 says, You have not gone up into the gaps or breeches, nor built up the wall for the house of Israel that it might stand in the battle in the day of the Lord.
God’s Word always rings true to this day……..
And in Ezkeil 22:30 And I sought a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.
Let that not be said of us. Mayor Berry stands in the gap so does Paul Heh who is also running for Mayor of Albuquerque.
Folks like the Santa Fe County Commission are not. All favored the Resolution supporting same-sex marriage, one did not vote for it, as he got tied up in the wording but he said he supports same-sex marriage.
You talk about beat’n around the bush! That’s an old Minnesotan saying.
Your either for God or against God.
The Resolution calls New Mexico state law on marriage as ANTIQUATED, I have to tell you that is like calling God’s Word ANTIQUATED.
It does not count what we think, it is what is in God’s Word that counts. I understand that people do not believe in God, and we pray that they will see the light of Jesus Christ in their lives and take the full Gospel of Jesus into their hearts, souls, and minds.
I humbly ask you to pray for us here at FGGAM as we stand in the gap on the sanctity of life and marriage. Please pray for our children and families.
Some people absolutely hate what we are doing, and that is one reason some Pastor’s and Christians will not stand in the gap because of the fear of that hate and rejection.
I will never forget the story Pastor Leonard Navarre told me a few years back about one of his friends getting on a plane and seeing the man next to him praying and his friend said to the man, Oh brother you must be a Christian, the man said no, I am praying for the death of a thousand pastors!
