Pastor Don Kimbro has been a mentor of mine for years! I called him yesterday to wish him HAPPY BIRTHDAY! This morning I called him to sing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him! LOL! LOL! Don turned 79 years young yesterday! Sharon and I are so very grateful for all he has taught us! Pastor Don has had a big impact on my prayer life! Amen! I first met Don about 10 years ago and he started doing a program on KKIM called, “Nuggets of Truth” It was one of our most popular programs! Don no longer does the program, but writes for us here at FGGAM! For several years Don was the Pastor at Heights Christian Church in Albuquerque, he still is preaching the Word of God as a guest Pastor! Amen! Don is an avid reader like myself and he has led me to many great books that have made me a better man of God and Preacher. Don and his angel on earth, his wife Dorothy of 58 years are such a blessing to the world! 58 years of marriage WOW! Amen! Let us start planning Pastor Don’s 80th Birthday Party and Don and Dorothy’s 60th Wedding Anniversary!!!! Now Don is a baseball fan like myself, so let’s make it a DOUBLEHEADER!!!! Now when I think of Don and Dorothy, I always get closer to heaven…….who helps you get closer to God? This verse in James 3:17 is the verse I think of when I thank the Lord for Don and Dorothy! But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. The world needs more Don and Dorothy’s! Surround yourself with people that bring you closer to God!
