Yesterday I was talking to my old buddy Rick (Wrisley) Carson in Elkhart, Indiana. Rick and I worked together at WCMR Country Music Radio in Elkhart in the late 80’s and up till about 1995. Rick was the Program Director and I was the Sales Manager. WCMR was, what I call a “Christian Country Music Station” . Rick and I were talking about the “good old days” and this song by Tom T. Hall says a lot to us today in America, only if we would “get it” Rick wants you to know that at one time Tom T. Hall owned banks and was asked to run for Governor of Tennessee, but said NO. Tom T. Hall has a great message for all of us…….
