Maj. Yochai Kalangel, 25, who was killed in Wednesday’s Hezbollah attack against IDF soldiers near the Lebanese border was buried at Mount Herzl Military Cemetery in Jerusalem on Thursday morning. He is survived by his wife, Tali and their infant daughter, as well as five siblings and his parents. His brother Tamir described him as “a giant of a man, salt of the earth, a great warrior.” His comrade, 20 year old St.-Sgt. Dor Haim Nini, was laid to rest on Thursday afternoon.
