Springs Fire In Southern California Gains Strength, Continues To Threaten HomesDiego Fire causing evacs to Jarosa. Shelter set up at Abiquiu Rural Events Center – HW84 & SR554. @NMFireInfo #nmfire evacuations have been ordered for areas west of the Coyote Canyon community affected by the Diego Fire that has burned more than 1,000 acres in the Santa Fe National Forest.

The wildfire  is burning in the Jemez Mountains nearly 8 miles south of Coyote, NM.

Officials have ordered immediate evacuations for the Weatherfall area, 20 miles east of Cuba, NM.

Folks in the Dunlap Spring were also ordered to evacuate.

Evacuation shelters have not been announced at this time
