James Monteleone of the Albuquerque Journal is reporting this morning that in a fund raising pitch New Mexico Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham evoked Dr. Seuss in her writing of the fund raising effort. She was responding to Ted Cruz spending 21 hours on the Senate floor opposing Obamacare in which he read Dr. Seuss’s “Green Eggs and Ham” Grisham wrote, “I do not like tea party whacko’s.(misspelling) I do not like them in the House. I do not like them in a blouse. I do not like them in the hall. I do not like tea party whackos at all. She misspelled “wacko”
Grisham called the move to defund Obamacare a “temper tantrum”
