I am in complete AWE of GOD!!! if we are not in the AWE of GOD, we are then in awe of ourselves, and needless to say, that is not a good thing!
Yesterday I had someone say this about placing a phone call to a relative:, “It’s hard to pick up the phone after all these years and talk…after the rift we had in our relationship”
We all have had rifts in relationships. Some of you may have a huge rift going on right now. I told my friend it takes one to pick up the phone and call, someone has to make the call so reconciliation can take place.
I was one the phone with Dear Friend Karen Rowe of Hope in Today this morning and she was sharing that our lives will always have problems in them. Whether it’s health, money, rifts…etc….
Karen once again shared with me her testimony of surviving breast cancer, which she has posted atwww.fggam.org and we have shared here on the CUP.
My Mommy(By golly I am so ever grateful to the Lord for my Mommy and Daddy) taught me as I grew up that we should not waste time with holding grudges, being mad..etc… we need to give time to the Lord to work in our hearts and then someone needs to make that call of reconciliation. Don’t die without making that call.
I have seen people hold a grudge for 40 years!
From Jesus Calling Devotional: Do not expect to be treated fairly in this life. People will say and do hurtful things to you, things that you don’t deserve. When someone mistreats you, try to view it as an opportunity to grow in grace. See how quickly you can forgive the one who has wounded you. DON’T BE CONCERNED ABOUT SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT.
Instead of obsessing about the other people’s opinions of you keep your focus on Me. Ultimately, it is My view of you that counts.
As you concentrate on relating to Me, remember that I have clothed you in My righteousness and holiness. I see you attired in these radiant garments, which I bought for you with My blood. This is also not fair; it is pure gift. When others treat you unfairly, remember that My ways with you are much better than fair. My ways are Peace and Love, which I have poured out into your heart by My Spirit.

I had a person use vulgar language with me awhile back that I had been ministering to, but God gave me the peace and love to let it roll off my back. I am still ministering to him to this day.
We have to remember this is not about us, it’s all about God.
I will always remember this story of a couple who got very mad at the radio station and me for what they deemed a failure in promotion of their product, they got down right mean! They were bad mouthing the radio station to all.They would not talk to me on the phone. They would not answer my messages. So, after a few days I went right to their office and brought them a box of donuts, and after their initial shock that I would come to see them, they opened up and we had a great reconciliation! My co-workers could not believe I would go see them after all what they said and did. As Children of God, it is what we do.
Amen!
We love to lift up the people of God, and shine the light of Jesus Christ to the World. Our individual testimonies show that light or not. One of the folks I have had the honor of getting to know over my 18 years in New Mexico is Former Lt. Gov. Walter Bradley, whose light shines brightly for our Lord.. he is a mentor of mine. I watch how he stands in the gap each and everyday for God. Walter is not bashful about his love of our Lord Jesus Christ, and his love for God’s people. When I think of Walter, I am led to the book of Ezekiel, 13:5, You have not gone up into the gaps or breeches……Walter has, Walter is a excellent example for us all what God calls us to do, Stand in the gap for HIM.
