New Mexico State Police and search-and-rescue crews are scouring the Jemez Mountains in hopes of finding a firefighter missing since Friday afternoon. The United States Forest Service firefighter, Token Adams, was last seen on Friday afternoon near Jemez Springs. “The individual is well-equipped, he’s well-trained, he’s got food and water and radio and a cellphone,” search and rescue volunteer Larry Zenter told KRQE TV. The search area initially covered about 25 square miles but has since been expanded to about 30 square miles. Adams is married with one son, and is expecting another child in less than a month, officials said.
