My hero, my Grandpa Floyd Caraway would be 117 today! Born on St. Patties Day! Grandpa and Grandma farmed 7 miles south of Windom, Minn. When I was preparing to leave home for radio and television school grandpa helped me prepare and move! He farmed till he was 84 and always told me,”I’d rather wear out than rust out!” He is pictured here with my Grandma, Lena Caraway. Grandpa and Grandma were solid believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Grandpa would build things in his workshop on the farm to sell to raise money for the Church. Grandma for years was a corespondent for the Windom newspaper, doing the Delafield News. Great memories, I pray that all children have grandparents like I did!
