A work in progress

We are blessed again today to hear from Connie Keyohara!!!

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6

Confidence in Christ. It’s a necessary trait we need in order to walk where God would have us walk. Have you ever thought; is this all life has to offer? is this it? is this is good as it gets?

I believe at one point or another in our life we have all questioned that, and sometimes in this day and age of social media and watching how others live and seeing what everybody else is up to can makes us feel like we’re coming up short. And that’s because we compare ourselves to others when we should not be doing that.

We have to remember that God has made each and every one of us different. God has made each and everyone of us special. We should be confident of that.

I believe everybody has days that they don’t feel like they measure up or maybe they have days where they feel like they’ve fallen short, but always remember that you are not completed yet and that God is still working on you. Whether you’re 1 or 101 this is true.

When you feel like nothing is happening that’s actually when something is happening, that’s when God is changing you. Scripture tells us in Isaiah 40:31 -But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Even during that long road and what feels like God’s silence, God is in fact with us! Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! Psalm 27:14.

The moment we came to God we became a work in progress, so be patient and wait on God because he isn’t finished with you yet!
