Louie Sanchez is a native New Mexican who grew up in the South Valley of Albuquerque, in a traditional Hispanic family. Louie worked his way through high school as a maintenance man, cleaning bathrooms and mowing grass at PuttPutt Golf, and put himself through college washing dishes. Louie was proud to become the first of nearly 40 cousins to graduate from college, earning his degree from the University of New Mexico. His family instilled in him the value of hard work, integrity, compassion, and personal responsibility, and those Jay C. Block on why he running for Governor of New Mexico still guide his steps today.
Louie is a proud business owner who wants every New Mexican willing to work for it to have the opportunity to reach their own American Dream. He is the owner of Calibers, with two locations in Albuquerque and one in Clovis, employing over fifty people. Louie has also worked in the healthcare field for over 27 years, bringing innovative and life-saving medical technologies to New Mexicans each day. Louie covers the entire state, helping to put in pacemakers and defibrillators, seeing hundreds of patients in clinic. Louie also enjoys working at the VA with veterans and has a special place in his heart for those who have served our country.
He and his wife of 25 years, Cassie, are the proud parents of two sons, who both attend college. Louie and Cassie are proud to have a family who seek God’s direction in every decision.
Louie’s Priorities:
Crime
Louie believes in fully funding our police, in expanded training for officers, and in using all available technologies to empower our law enforcement and protect our citizens. As Governor, Louie will back the blue and ensure criminals face appropriate punishments for their crimes, give law enforcement back their qualified immunity for crime, and will do away with get-out-of-jail-free cards with the no bail system.
Education
Louie understands the unique situations that challenge New Mexico’s children when it comes to education, and will work to ensure we overcome them by focusing on the entire life experience and wellbeing of the child, working to break generational patterns that limit opportunity and achievement. We need parents to be involved, educators to have access to every resource, and communities invested in the next generation of leaders. Trade schools, charter schools, and optional schools need to be plentiful, accessible, and fully equipped to meet the needs of every student. We must be vigilant so that all of our children have a pathway to success and a brighter future. Louie will not support Critical Race Theory in our schools, and will reinstate the Pledge of Allegiance. Louie also believes in school choice, so the money follows the student.
Securing our Border & Protecting our Citizens
The safety and security of New Mexican families is a top priority for all of our citizens, but unfortunately, this priority is compromised without solid border protection. Louie Sanchez believes we must put our people first by enforcing our country’s immigration laws. Illegal immigration contributes significantly to New Mexico’s crime, drug addiction, and human trafficking problems. Louie understands that our southern border is not safe, and he will work to fix it. Our streets cannot continue to be dangerous, our ranchers and farmers shouldn’t have to struggle with the drug cartel, and human traffickers shouldn’t operate unchallenged. As Governor, Louie will enforce all of our immigration laws, and will utilize the New Mexico National Guard to protect our border and keep our citizens safe.
Rebuilding the Economy & Protecting the Energy Sector
New Mexicans want and deserve good-paying jobs, and we want to keep quality talent here, in our state. One of Louie Sanchez’s top priorities will be rebuilding New Mexico’s economy, and protecting our oil and gas energy economy. Louie believes the pathway to a prosperous New Mexico starts by capitalizing on our oil & gas resources, creating opportunity, fostering a thriving economy, supporting a strong job market, and never raising taxes.
Eliminating Social Security Taxes
New Mexico is one of only 13 states that tax Social Security benefits. This makes it difficult for our residents to comfortably retire here, and it deters outsiders from considering it at all due to financial constraints. As your Governor, Louie Sanchez will put an end to Social Security taxes and keep families together, enabling more native New Mexicans to retire in their home state.

My warning once again! Spiritual Warfare is hot and heavy and it is going to get worse! The Church in America needs to wake up and put on the armor of God and go forth carrying out The Great Commission! Wake up Pastors!!!!! This is no Sunday School picnic! Prepare your people! Help Me Understand: Spiritual Warfare—The Devil
What does the body of Christ not understand about THE GREAT COMMISSION? IT IS A COMMAND, TO GO! GO!
Years ago at the Time to Revive Revival in Asheville, NC it was spoken over me and confirmed by the Lord that I was to be a Watchman on the Wall! That is exactly what the LORD has done with me for the past several years, 24 years now. Everyday the Spiritual condition of the world slips further into hell. Jesus has told us what to do! What are you doing about it? A “Watchman” pastor is one who has committed to watch what goes on in the culture, pray for wisdom to engage the culture and sound the alarm of perceived cultural transgressions from the pulpit. That is what the LORD has commanded me to be!
FROM CHURCHLEADERS!!! I love this media organization!!!! Thank the LORD!!!
One of the big questions U.S. Christians are faced with every November (especially every four years when Americans elect a new president) is: “Should a Christian vote?”
This question has been especially front of mind in the past decade. From Obama to Trump to Biden, voting booths have been flooded with Christians attempting to make a difference with their vote.
