“The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.”
Psalm 28:7
It isn’t very easy to trust God in the midst of our trials, but at the first sign of trouble, we need to try to let go of our need to control the situation and the need to panic.
It will become easier and easier when we begin to understand our roles. He is God and we are not!
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.”
Psalm 20:7
“He is not afraid of bad news; his heart is firm, trusting in the LORD.”
Psalm 112:7
Trusting God is a process that can only be completed if you have a relationship with Him.
If you lack a relationship with Him, it will be next to impossible to trust him. You see, when you do not know someone well, you won’t trust them to lead you.
Once you’ve built a relationship, it’s easier to trust them.
No matter what lies ahead, it’s imperative we turn to God and not away from him.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-8
We must trust the Lord completely in every area of your life. Remember that He is always on our side and He is fighting for us as we go through the difficulties in our life.
He loves us and has our best interest at heart at all times, and He is close to us when we are hurting most.
The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed.
Psalm 34:18
