Knowing Jesus Is the Most Important Thing, By Karen Rowe

Good afternoon,

Pray for me as you read this, please.   It’s Faith that I share this much with you today.  In Jesus Name.  Amen.

I was up all-night praying, but why was I not tired?  I even asked God that last night as I continued to pray for what?  I did not know what all I was praying for, but I was bothered by something that was keeping me awake, so I took it all to the Lord in prayer.

I prayed things I don’t know about; and mostly I was praying the prayer Jesus taught us to pray forwards and backwards and again and again several times.

“Lord forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us,” was a main theme of the way the Spirit of the Lord directed me to pray when I did understand what I was praying.

And, Father, “lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil,” was also a point that I kept repeating, as I believe the Lord was praying through me for hundreds, thousands, and maybe even a million people.  That’s for the Lord to know; and me to find out (If He wants me to).     But I was not tired, because I was resting in the Lord … just in prayer with Him for people on the Lord’s mind.  Even you were on my heart in the Lord, I believe the Lord just whispered for me to say your name in this…you know your name & so does Jesus.

And all last night the Lord in me was Praising God, for God is our God who is our Father in Jesus Name, He is our God and Father who art in Heaven, and hallowed be HIS NAME!  I hope I spelled hallowed right to mean the ultimate power of whom God is and how God came to us in Jesus Name!   God comes to us through the man He made Himself to be for us to come to Him in prayers like this.

I have been learning so much in this area, that the Lord is revealing to me about Himself, but for today, my message is this:

KNOWING JESUS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING

God wants to get your attention.

He knows you don’t understand.

But He wants you to know that He loves you.

If you pray, He will speak to you.

And speak to the Father God in the name He gave us to come to Him.

In Jesus Christ’s Holy Name.

Have patience

– and wait upon the Lord –

Jesus loves you!

In prayer, you will come to understand all things you are searching to know.

It’s about the Damascus Road Story

And I have a story from yesterday.  In short, there was a boat blending in with the colors of the water.  The people were dressed to blend in as well with shades of browns and greens.  I was up on them, before I saw them, and my son went by them and didn’t even see them.   After we got the skis loaded up, and back in the truck, I said, son did you see that boat as you went by?  He was shocked, because he is always so aware and careful to go far around fishing boats, so as not to disturb anyone’s fishing.   But he was shocked that he was unaware they were there as he went by.   I said, I almost didn’t see them either.   And, I barely did see them.   It was about 5 ish and they blended in so well with the water.  If you have ever spent time on the water, you realize this is why a boater must always be aware of what we can’t see.

And this is somehow related to the story of FAITH & how it ties into this message.

God had to succeed as a man to give us the victory in Christ Jesus.

Jesus had to succeed as a man – by FAITH; and live 33 1/2 years ( I beleive), but without sin as a man by faith to earn man back the right to God by faith, when man chooses faith in God over self-reliance that is sin, because anything not of faith is sin.   I hope I said that right – My job is to point you to pray.   But if this is helpful to you like it is to me, then to God be the glory and by faith I will write as the Lord instructs my mind to hear what the Father tells my Lord Jesus and he tells me through His Holy Spirit.  Okay, too deep, too quick ?   but it was the Father God who did the miracle for us to be able to come to know and believe Jesus really loves us; and the Father God does too.

We can trust God!

The story goes, God allowed us to see the boat come in and dock, as we were tying things down.   There’s more to this story, but when the man walked by us, he smiled with an angelic smile as if to says, I saw you go by and I see you now, I loved you then and I love you now.   I happen to believe as I was praying last night, the Lord brought that man back to my memory with the words, “He was an angel.”   I truly believe with all my experiences in this life with God so far, that Jesus can disguise Himself to be what we need to see in any given moment to help us grow in our faith in God’s love and devotion to us.

Think of the time when Jesus walked with the men, and they told him of the story that happened to him, but didn’t recognize him, until He let them see it was Jesus as he broke bread with them.

 Overview
In the King James Version of the Bible, Luke 24:31 states, “And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight”. This refers to the time when Jesus appeared to two disciples on the road to Emmaus, but they were unable to recognize him at first.

Why do I share this with you today?   Faith!   God gave a man, Jesus who still takes the form of a man to get our attention.

Smile Jesus loves you.

He will help you understand if you will sacrifice sleep to pray and talk with him.

He will bring understanding to what you have not understood yet.

The Lord Jesus Christ has much more on my mind for an appointed time, but for Today, this is the message God has given me to say to you:

God wants to get your attention.

He knows you don’t understand.

But God wants you to know that He loves you.

If you pray, He will speak to you.

Would you like to Dig Deeper in understanding the meanings of the words SEEK and SEARCH?   If you would, this is part of my study with the Lord today.

Seek in Greek means

“To seek in order to find.”

Seek in Hebrew means

“To inquire or search carefully for something”

and “to request something” respectively.

Seek 1st the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness & then

he will add …Mt 7:7-8 (check the address please).

The ancient word for search is

“To travel through”

and

“To dig for something”

THEN …

Search deep in God’s Word and Pray to understand

& THEN …something powerful happens between us & with us and God.

Search =

When applied to Scriptures

means to examine

& to study out the meaning of God’s Word to us

– to come to know and understand the love God has for us.

Love and mercy and grace is for us and not against us.

The verb seek has much of the same force as “fetch” or “gather,”  -As for example as written in Matthew 2:13 (Please check to confirm I quoted the correct scripture address) – Herod’s    seeking    Christ    as an infant    to kill him.

The ESV uses the verb “search” indicating Herod’s level of commitment to destroying Christ.

How much more should we seek the Lord to live?

And to understand

In Your Hands I commit this work, as Paul said and the Lord is revealing to me, I have seen things of the Lord that truly amaze me, and to speak of that would not be foolish, because it is the truth.   BUT, I don’t want people to look to me, I want them to see Christ in me – Through what the world sees in my life and the way I live for Him; and what they hear through my message; let it be YOU LORD they find.

Seek and you shall find!   – Ask, Seek, Knock … In times of searching for God’s thoughts, it was then in my every weakness that  I come to see visions and understand by revelations of the Lord & from the Lord.   Truly it was all – in my weaknesses, in my confusion, in my lack of understanding – I went to the Lord God in Prayer, and told him everything I feel & called upon God’s help in the One who made the connection to God possible again.       To better complete this thought, just be honest with God and listen for Him to speak!  He will speak to you!      Read Jer 29:11 (and read on … to I believe it is verse 15)    that says that you will search for me with all that you are,  and find me and then you will call on me according to all that is written in God’s word.

Just read it with Jesus and then, discover that repentance is a beautiful grace and mercy, and the PEACE of God will rest upon you.

Don’t give your peace in God away.

Take your peace to God

and he will give you a listening ear

and he will speak to you

and when you receive this, you will never be the same.   I am going to go ahead, in my faith, and call it done, in Jesus Christ’s Holy Name!  Glory Hallelujah

When I get time, I will come back and read this and add Scripture addresses if anything needs corrected in the Bible addresses.  I will appreciate you help in confirming as well.
